Downs built her reputation as the founder of Roost Modern Italian, one of Dayton’s most celebrated restaurants, which she owned and operated for more than 14 years. Throughout her career she has launched multiple successful hospitality ventures, led teams of over 100 employees, and developed innovative dining programs generating millions in annual revenue.

Her background spans restaurant ownership, executive culinary leadership, country club management, membership programming, and hospitality brand development.
